| Details: | We are a friendly, active club, where it is always possible to play and enjoy a game of chess. We have players of varied ability, from enthusiastic newcomers to Lancashire county adult and junior team players. Club activities include Open Tournament, Open Rapidplay Tournament, Club Championship, Simultaneous Display and Club Dinner. |

| Leagues: | Blackpool & Fylde Chess League Poulton have three teams in the league, one each in the first, second and third divisions. |
| Directions: | Take the A585 (Mains Lane/Amounderness Way) heading north towards Fleetwood until the “Morrison’s” roundabout at Thornton-Cleveleys. Take the exit after the Morrison’s entrance (2nd if coming from the South/4th if coming from Fleetwood travelling South!) onto Victoria Road West. At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right onto Rossall Road (across the Tram lines). Continue on Rossall Road until the 2nd mini-roundabout, turn left onto Beach Road. Continue on Beach Road until turning left onto Kensington Road and into the “Cleveleys Community Centre & Church” car park (please note if this is full then the main car park next door to the centre is ‘Free’ after 6pm. |
